Why don't I have access to a board and how can I get it?
If you log into StrategyFrame, see the desired board, but receive the message "Sie haben kein Zugriff auf dieses Board" (You do not have access to this board) when clicking on it, it means your access for this specific workspace has not been activated yet.
For security and privacy reasons, access to specific boards is managed exclusively by Administrators within your own company. The StrategyFrame support team cannot and is not allowed to grant you these rights.
Therefore, please contact an internal Admin in your company to request the appropriate permissions.
Instructions for the Administrator: How to grant access
If you are an Admin and want to grant a colleague access to a specific board, please follow these steps:
- Navigate in StrategyFrame to the Board you want to grant access to.
- Click on the Pencil Icon (Edit Button) to enter the editing mode of the board.
- Scroll down until you see the list of current Users.
- Click on Add User.
- Start typing the email address or name of the user, and select the corresponding person from the displayed list.
- Now assign the appropriate permissions. You can choose whether the user needs only read rights, full write access, or if they should even become a Board Admin.
Tip / Best Practice: As a best practice, we recommend granting new users write access for all Areas directly, unless access must be strictly restricted. This allows them to work productively right away.
What is a Board Admin?
A Board Admin has extended permissions on this specific board. Among other things, they can:
- Add or remove other users to the board.
- Adjust the permissions of other users.
- Configure other important board settings.
